About Us

South Bucks Karate Club has been operating in the High Wycombe area for nearly 30 years. Originally based at Sands before moving to Prestwood in the late 80's and Bisham Abbey in the mid 90s then Borlase School in 2008.

In June 2009 we moved From Marlow Borlase School to our current training hall at St Piran's Center, Maidenhead.

We run 2 clubs, St Piran's School, with training on a Monday evening, and Prestwood Village Hall where we train on a Wednesday and Friday evening.

We hold Seminars at St Piran's School three times a year, for UKASKO members. These seminars are followed by Gradings for South Bucks Karate Academy students.

We like to think of ourselves as a friendly club that support its students. To this end we have annual outings to Laser Quest, UKASKO competitions, and other social events throughout the year.

Especially important is the welfare of the Junior students, and to this end we run Stranger Danger classes, Bullying sessions, Merit Badge evenings, and charity events.
